BAHAR ATVUR
Bahar Atvur is a Turkish American writer and executive producer whose work spans premium television, live events, and long-form interviews. She leads Lolane Christopher Creative, a bi-coastal creative agency, where she and Co-Founder Jordan Watland develop original television series and consult for studios, networks, talent, and live events.
Beyond the agency's broader client work, Atvur has worked most extensively with Queen Latifah, for whom she has written and produced since 2013. Recent projects include serving as Creative Director for a global A.I. conference at the Vatican and writing the one-hour interview panel for George Lucas' first-ever Comic-Con appearance.
Past credits include Goop Podcast, MTV, NBC, Sony, Harpo, Vice, Lifetime, BET, Billboard, and Vanity Fair.
Atvur's ongoing international focus is helping to expand Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project, a residential education program that has successfully disrupted generational poverty for families that earn less than $2 a day (as seen on Netflix's Daughters of Destiny).
Atvur is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Presidential Leadership Scholar. She holds both a BA in Entertainment Business and an MBA in Corporate Finance from New York University.
JORDAN WATLAND
Jordan Watland is an Emmy Award-winning producer and a WGA Award-nominated writer. Along with Bahar Atvur, he founded Christopher Creative, a creative agency that develops original films, plays, and television series and consults for studios, networks, talent, and live events.
Presently, Watland serves as Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer for four-time Emmy-winning "Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show," The Kelly Clarkson Show. Under his leadership, the series became the first daytime talk show in history to be nominated in the Best Comedy/Variety category at the Writers Guild of America Awards.
Previously, Watland produced some of the biggest series in late night comedy and syndicated talk, including: Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Katie Couric Show, The Late Late Show, The Martha Stewart Show, Steve Harvey, and Bill Nye Saves the World. He also co-created and executive produced the Netflix comedy panel show, The Fix.
At The Kelly Clarkson Show, Watland created the Songs & Stories series, which went on to become a Primetime Special on NBC. Artists features in Primetime: Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Teddy Swims, and Gloria Estefan. Artist featured in daytime: P!NK, Garth Brooks, Chris Martin, Alanis Morissette, and Sarah McLachlan.
Outside of television, Watland writes essays, short stories, songs, and novels. He is a former NCAA All-American swimmer and a proud member of the Writers Guild of America West.
